Spring in the Gardens!
The glorious gardens of the Mountains are once again open to the public – from Glenbrook to Oberon gardens are in bloom.
SEPTEMBER
• Wild Spaces Environmental Film Festival
– Big issues on a big screen. Wild Spaces is Australia’s only national film festival focused entirely on environmental and social justice issues.

Australia’s only festival showcasing world-class puppeteers. MARCH
• Task Force 72 Regatta – sets sail (literally) on Wentworth Falls Lake – Model ship enthusiasts from all over the world congregate to admire over 280 1:72 scale models of anything that floats from patrol boats to submarines. Unique in the World.
• The Six Foot Track Marathon – run the famous Six-foot track from Explorers Tree, Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. Follow in the footsteps of local explorers, bushrangers and 500 other local and international marathon runners. 46km. www.sixfoot.com
• The Blue Mountains Festival of Folk, Roots & Blues
A three day festival of acoustic folk, roots and blues featuring artists

Yulefest Celebrations across the Blue Mountains
– Celebrate with Yule dinner in front of a roaring log fire, visits from Santa and local community events. There’s lots to celebrate – even Queen Victoria’s Birthday!
JUNE
• Winter Magic Festival – Community festival held on the Saturday nearest to the Winter Solstice (the longest night of the year). Street parade, music, market stalls and cultural events.

• Woodford to Glenbrook Classic – 25 km Marathon Bike Ride winding through the fire trails of the Blue Mountains National Park.
